Hot water is pumped from the boiler round the primary pipework towards the underfloor heating circuit. Flow to the radiator and/or towel rail circuit and DHW circuit is controlled via a separate programmer and motorised valves. This allows either of the three circuits to operate independently of the other two. Flow to the underfloor heating circuits is shown on the intelligent control, standard control, and single zone schematics.
