This diagram shows how underfloor heating for a single zone is connected to the boiler in such a way that it can operate independently from a radiator circuit. Underfloor heating works at different times and temperatures from a radiator system, so the plumbing for the underfloor heating circuit has to be connected directly to the boiler. Adding the underfloor heating zone as an extension to the radiator circuit would prove unsatisfactory because the underfloor heating zone would only operate whenever the radiator circuit was also open. Read this drawing in conjunction with the radiator and DHW schematic.
