Underfloor
Heating Photos
Ground
and upper floors with underfloor heating installed
Slab
plus screed ground floor with suspended timber upper floor and
underfloor heating installed throughout. The type of screed
used to cover the pipes on the ground floor is an anhydrite
screed and, if you look closely at the lower part of the photograph,
you may notice that the insulation has been covered in a membrane.
This membrane, which covers the entire floor and comes up the
wall to above the surface height of the screed, has all joins/seams
taped and sealed. This prevents the anhydrite pouring screed
from seeping below the insulation and floating it. The next
photograph shows the membrane more clearly.
