Hot water is pumped from the heat pump to either the DHW cylinder or a buffer cylinder via a diverter valve. The DHW cylinder is also heated by solar panels. The underfloor heating zone draws its warm water from the buffer cylinder. This configuration allows full thermostatic control of all the individual rooms or zones, without compromising the cycling of the heat pump.
