underfloor heating, heat pump and thermal store schematic

Hot water is pumped from the heat pump to either the DHW cylinder or the underfloor heating manifolds via a diverter valve. Water temperature is regulated by the heat pump, so there is no need for secondary water temperature control on the UFH circuit. Circulation through the underfloor heating manifolds may need to be boosted by the inclusion of a secondary pump, depending on the number of circuits and the size of the property.
