Borders Underfloor Heating
Diagrams

Diagram of how underfloor heating components connect to your heat source.

This diagram shows the components and routing for a project with two different floor constructions and domestic hot water supply. If you have a concrete floor downstairs and a suspended timber floor upstairs the underfloor heating will need to run at different temperatures for each floor. The upper floor will typically operate between 50 - 60 deg. C, while the downstairs floor will be at 35 - 40 deg. C. The four port mixer reduces the water temperature to the lower circuit.
